Tom Brewster - tom@aznorth.com
Founder, President and CEO
Tom Brewster, 43, is a native of Arizona with extensive experience in business, including the real estate, finance, construction and
communications industries. Mr. Brewster's entrepreneurial spirit was evident at an early age when, at the age of 16, he and
his brother purchased three single family homes as investment properties. This was just the beginning of Mr. Brewster's
involvement in real estate, as he pursued his interest in the industry by becoming a licensed general contractor in 1985
and licensed real estate agent in 1988. In 1992 and 1994, when Mr. Brewster was selling real estate, he was named a "Top
Producer" by the Northern Arizona Association of Realtors.
In 1993, Mr. Brewster formed AZNORTH Development, Inc. so he could acquire and develop property in Northern Arizona. (See
www.aznorth.com) In 1995, he formed AZNORTH Realty, the in-house brokerage
for AZNORTH Development, Inc. Over the last 15 years, Mr. Brewster has grown AZNORTH into a successful development company
with a seasoned management team.
AZNORTH Development, Inc. is widely recognized for its in depth analysis and understanding of real estate markets and
for analyzing the viability of projects. Other private real estate companies and public agencies regularly call upon
AZNORTH for advice on real estate issues. Mr. Brewster's areas of expertise include management, real estate finance,
and structuring complex transactions. He has extensive experience working with private investors and has developed
positive working relationships with local and state government officials.
In addition to his business interests, Mr. Brewster has been active in community affairs over the last 20 years.
He founded two nonprofit organizations and has served on a variety of other boards. He has been invited to serve
on various local government committees and task forces, including the City of Flagstaff Affordable Housing Task
Force and the City of Flagstaff Affordable Housing Set Aside Committee.

Chief Financial Officer and Controller
Jen Clark has lived in Arizona since 1995 and has been with AZNORTH Development, Inc. for 12 years.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in healthcare from Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY
Ms. Clark is responsible for all financial planning, budgeting and reporting, including evaluating the
financial viability of all proposed projects. She conducts due diligence on all parcels the company
considers acquiring; coordinates the activities of the sub-contractors and suppliers; oversees all expenditures
and cash flow; oversees the AZNORTH portfolio of rental properties; responds to RFP's; and manages the
AZNORTH staff.
Bob Shute - bob@aznorth.com
Vice-President of Development
Mr. Shute has lived in northern Arizona since 1981 and has been with AZNORTH since 2003. He earned an
Associate Degree from Waseca College in Sandstone, Minnesota.
Mr. Shute is responsible for evaluating projects for their viability and for those projects AZNORTH
pursues he is responsible for overseeing the construction of all of AZNORTH’s projects, including the
installation of infrastructure (water, natural gas, electricity, etc.) and ensuring that the projects
are built according to schedule and come in at or under budget. Mr. Shute is responsible for securing
all required governmental entitlements and works closely with a wide variety of consultants including
engineers, land use planners, architects, and attorneys.
Prior to joining AZNORTH Development, Inc. in 2003, Mr. Shute was the District Manager for a large
franchise restaurant chain in northern Arizona for 20 years. He was responsible for 300 staff, projecting
budgets and staffing needs, managing physical plants, and ensuring the profitability of the restaurants
in his region.
